Farmers had come up with a “unique selling proposition” called HelpPoint.  One call caused a 9-1-1 trained response team to leap into action and nip the potential nightmare in the bud.  My tag line, “Sanity makes a comeback,” sprang from that notion, as did a couple of very well-received TV spots which I concepted, scripted, and revised and polished and presented and sold through many rounds, ultimately attracting world-class directors through the strength of the fully-formed ideas. Another team got to oversee production…ah, freelancing. “Drowned Circus” is archived at the Museum of Modern Art by virtue of winning an AICP award.  “Stolen Car” came straight from my own vividly-felt experience late one night in Hollywood.  ( I didn’t have HelpPoint, but don’t worry, the cops found my car three weeks later with minimal damage.)
